SUMMER STORMS and being a NOTARY KIM

A Memorable Signing in Green Mountain Falls

One of the things I love most about being a mobile notary and loan signing agent in Colorado Springs is that no two appointments are ever exactly alike. Every signing gives me an opportunity to meet new people, hear their stories, and help them through an important part of their financial journey. Recently, I had one of those memorable appointments in beautiful Green Mountain Falls while helping a couple with their refinance loan.

Green Mountain Falls is such a beautiful area, and the drive there is always enjoyable. The mountain scenery makes being a mobile signing agent especially rewarding. But what made this particular appointment really stand out was meeting the homeowners—and discovering that they had some very unusual pets!

As we worked through their refinance loan documents, I learned that they were the proud owners of both a python and a tarantula. Now, you never quite know what you are going to encounter when you walk into someone’s home as a mobile notary! I have met plenty of interesting people and pets during my years as a notary, but having a python and a tarantula as part of the household definitely made this signing one I won’t forget.

I genuinely enjoy meeting people from all walks of life. My goal at every signing is to make the process as comfortable, organized, and efficient as possible. Loan documents can sometimes seem overwhelming, especially when there are a lot of pages and signatures involved. As a professional loan signing agent, I take my responsibility seriously. I carefully review the signing instructions, make sure documents are completed properly, and keep the appointment moving efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.

After completing the signing in Green Mountain Falls, I headed back toward Colorado Springs. That’s when Colorado decided to give me another memorable experience—a storm!

One thing I’ve learned since living in Colorado is that we don’t get the constant storms and humidity that I remember from other places. Colorado weather can be beautiful, sunny, and calm one minute, and then suddenly change. On my drive home that day, I got caught in a storm, which was quite an adventure after such a pleasant signing appointment.

Being a mobile signing agent means spending a lot of time on the road, but I wouldn’t trade it. I love being able to travel throughout Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas, meet new clients, and provide a service that helps people complete important real estate transactions. Whether I’m helping with a refinance, purchase, refinance, or another type of loan signing, I strive to be dependable, punctual, efficient, and professional every time.

As an independent signing agent and professional Colorado notary, I understand how important it is for clients to have someone they can trust. I believe that being friendly and approachable is just as important as knowing how to handle the documents correctly. My customers deserve someone who communicates clearly, respects their time, and takes pride in doing the job right.

And sometimes, the best part of the job is the unexpected—a beautiful drive to Green Mountain Falls, meeting wonderful people with a python and tarantula, and even getting caught in a Colorado storm on the way home!
